Meet Our StaffBob Hansen
In 1980, Bob started his direct mail education in the mail room! During his 25-year tenure beginning at PEP, Inc. he grew from a mail room clerk in the hills of New Hampshire to the Associate Executive Director of Development responsible for strategic planning, analytics, and execution of multifaceted mailing programs for the Paralyzed Veterans of America in Washington, DC. Bob’s industry knowledge and expertise is extensive! His ability to understand the importance of integrating marketing with production, to identifying opportunities and develop effective means to fulfill and capitalize on them, led Bob to establish Saba Direct in 2005. With Bob’s enthusiasm and vision at the helm, Saba Direct and our clients have been growing ever since. Bob enjoys sharing his ideas with other entrepreneurs and helping new young talent embrace the world of direct marketing, so whenever he can, he speaks at colleges to discuss business and career opportunities in direct marketing. Prior to Saba Direct, Patti was Vice President of Production and Creative Services at SCA Direct in Fairfax, Virginia for 15 years. As a key member of the senior management team she was responsible for achieving corporate growth objectives, ensuring client satisfaction and overall company profitability. Patti’s previous positions at direct marketing agencies and production facilities, coupled with her experience running her own production brokerage firm, have provided her with the perfect blend of creative and production expertise, and an unwavering commitment to outstanding client service. Barry’s entrepreneurial spirit has provided him with broad experiences. In 1995, he co-founded Softrac America, an industry leader in direct marketing fulfillment, which he successfully sold in 1999. In 2001, he and a partner co-founded HintonHill, a full-service project management company and Pegasus Data Services, a data processing company. Direct Group, one of the nation’s largest direct mail manufacturing companies, acquired both corporations in 2007 and asked Barry to serve as their Vice President of Sales. With the help of the Saba Direct client services team, he keeps the operation running smoothly and efficiently — making sure client projects and programs are delivered ‘right’ and ‘on time.’ Denny has been in a position of management with several local direct mail companies where he has played a significant role in helping them grow their operations. A second generation printer, Denny started out following his dad around the press room at age eight. Twenty years later, his focus is in operations, data processing and file management. Denny’s diverse production background has provided him with expertise in all areas of fulfillment, including printing and mailing operations. |
